Active Body Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy

The primary goal of our facility is to be the best provider of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services. In order to achieve this goal, we offer each client:

  1. A physiotherapy team with a wealth of experience and knowledge
  2. The most up to date techniques and modes of treatment
  3. A warm and caring atmosphere
  4. HICAPS, allowing you to claim your private health fund rebate immediately
  5. A broad-based approach to treatment, encompassing postural and functional requirements
  6. The recognition that each person is an individual, and that what works for one may not work at all for another. Our physiotherapists pride themselves in tailoring treatment programs according to the patient's specific functional needs and abilities
  7. Although passive treatments may be warranted as an adjunct to the main treatment, our physiotherapists focus the majority of their treatment with a "Hands-On" approach
  8. Varying types of treatment which may include but are not limited to the following:
  • Joint mobilisations
  • Soft tissue massage
  • McKenzie therapy
  • Mulligans therapy
  • Exercise therapy in conjunction with our Exercise Physiologists
  • Passive treatments such as ice, heat and electrical stimulation

Our team are experts in movement and function and not only treat the presenting injury but also and more importantly aim to prevent them. Active Body physiotherapists aim to relieve the patient's symptoms and pain, as well as return the individual to their maximal capabilities so that they can work, play and live.
